Install the dashboard and work offline
Understand installed-app features, local drafts, and the actions that require a live connection.
Install the dashboard
Open EnderDash in a browser that supports installed web apps. Use the browser's install control when it is available. Installation creates an app window for the same dashboard and account.
Browser and operating-system support varies. If the install control is unavailable, continue using the browser dashboard.
When the connection is unavailable
The dashboard can preserve supported local drafts. Server commands, shell sessions, destructive actions, and live agent operations still need a connection. They do not replay automatically when the app reconnects.
Supported local drafts are retained for seven days. Chat messages explicitly queued through the supported workflow can also remain for seven days. Review queued content before reconnecting if the situation has changed.
Import content into a draft
Supported share or import flows accept up to 20 files, with a total size limit of 25 MB. Imported text is limited to 64 KB, and pending imports expire after 24 hours.
Review the imported destination and content before saving or sending. An import is not permission to execute a script or publish its contents.
Monitor windows
Where the browser supports them, monitoring views can use a separate window, fullscreen, or wake lock. Browser policies may deny these features or release wake lock when the page is hidden.
Do not depend on an open browser window as the only monitoring mechanism. Configure alert delivery for incidents that need team attention.
If local state does not appear
Check that you opened the same browser profile and origin, that the retention period has not elapsed, and that browser storage remains available. Reconnect and confirm a live operation before using the dashboard for server changes.
